How to create an amazing client experience with your website
I have something a little embarrassing to admit…
I have a bit of a business crush on my son's dentist!!
And that says a lot because I recently battled my life-long medical phobia... so to say dentist visits aren't my favourite way to spend an afternoon is a bit of an understatement!
But their entire customer experience is just outstanding!
What makes an amazing customer experience?
✔️ It was super easy to find our dentist’s website on Google
✔️ Booking our appointments online was a breeze
✔️ They had clean, nice offices
✔️ Friendly staff welcoming us at the door
And that's before we ever actually met the dentist himself. Talk about a great first impression, right?!
Then once we do get into the office, this guy sets my nervous little one right at ease with jokes, toys and a Robbin Williams inspired routine to introduce him to all of the various tools he'll be using. He commanded the situation and set all of our minds at ease by confidently leading us through the experience and taking our worries into consideration as he proceeded.
All in all, we couldn't have been happier with the actual appointment. But then the cherry on top...
Make a great first impression
Our dentist decided not to charge us for the first appointment!
He said it wasn't a "real" appointment because he was just getting to know our son and letting him get used to being at the dentist office.
Now, I'm not an advocate for not charging for your time. But what he did was such a smart business move!
He wowed us with a fantastic first impression
He made us feel reassured, seen and heard
He demonstrated his expertise working with children
And then he knocked our socks off having us skip the payment for this appointment, essentially assuring that we'll 100% be coming back to him for the next 18 years or so!
We were absolutely floored by what a great experience it had been we also proceeded to tell anyone with kids in our neighbourhood about this fantastic dentist we'd found - talk about easy marketing!
So unless you happen to live in our part of Paris and are looking for a kid's dentist, what does this have to do with you?
Well, laying out this type of red carpet experience for your prospective and new clients is something you can 100% do in your business. And your website is a big part of creating that amazing first impression!

Just imagine how this could have gone if the dentist's office hadn't shown up in my Google results, or if their website was hard to use and I couldn't figure out if they had someone who could see my son or even if it was too complicated to book in our appointment.
We'd never have gone to their office, met this guy and had this amazing experience!
So make sure you're creating an outstanding experience for the people who are actively looking for you on your website, and you'll be a long way towards having life-long fans!
