The power branding has over us
Recently, I've fallen head over heals for an amazing patisserie here in Paris called Yann Couvreur. Not only are their cakes and goodies absolutely delicious but I'm completely obsessed with their packaging! Can you blame me?
It's chic and classy but also fun and irreverent. The interplay of the fine copper and pastel teal palette is so fresh and modern while also remaining sophisticated and classic. Their branding often features foxes, the chef has a pet fox 🦊, which is another nod to their cheeky but refined style.
And it is not a small part of why, whenever it’s a special occasion (or honestly, a Thursday) this is the FIRST place I want to go to buy desert . It feels like a treat and something I truly look forward to experiencing - not just the cake, but the experience of visiting the store and the delight of unwrapping this gorgeous packaging.
